Future and Alternative Energy

This article talk about the renewable energy and the addition in the rate of burning fossil fuel around the world, it becomes very important for the world to see a great shift in the use of energy. In our future and alternative appeared many solution .This solution varies from developing green energy sources, which are renewable and produced by the sun , wind , hydro , geothermal heat , bio , waves ,rain, waste and other sources of clean powernew. Renewable energy sources have appeared as a response to the conventional energy source it represented by fossil fuels such as coal , oil and natural gas because during combustion, these fuels are releasing harmful emissions into the atmosphere , which leads to global warming and climate change. In Malaysia, renewable energy considers as a fifth source of energy. Different types of renewable energy have been used in various sectors. The aim of this research is to understand the level of renewable energy in Malaysia, the rules and regulations that have helped green technology to flourish in Malaysia. Four research questions have developed to achieve the aim of this research. In designing this research two methods have implemented; focused literature review and multiple case studies to understand the beginning of the awareness towards climate change as well as the current situation of the renewable energy in Malaysia, literature review is a crucial factor to achieve the research aim. Several case studies will be followed in this research. To have in depth understanding of renewable energy in Malaysia, case study is important. The findings of this research suggest that Green technology in Malaysia still in the developing stage. The investment in green products is too high which needs to consider in relation with market size. Malaysian government is playing the major role in supporting green concept. in terms of the public awareness, more actions need to be taken to support more consumers to consider green products services and their first choice.

Alternative energy is any energy source that is an alternative to fossil fuel. These fossil fuel was intended to address by alternative energy, such as its high carbon dioxide emissions, an important factor in global warming. Marine energy, hydroelectric, wind, geothermal and solar power are all alternative sources of energy.

The nature of what constitutes an alternative energy source has changed considerably over time, as have over control  regarding energy use. Because of the variety of energy choices and differing goals of their advocates, defining some energy types as "alternative" is considered very controversial.

In Malaysia energy is required in almost all aspect of every day life including agricultural, drinking water, lighting health care, telecommunication, and industrial activities.Presently, the demand of energy is met by fossil fuels (i.e. coal petroleum and natural gas). However, the world fossil fuel production, beginning with petroleum and natural gas, will soon start to decline. In the seventies, the oil crisis forced many to look for alternative renewable energy sources and in the nineties, the global environmental concerns created the awareness to use clean energy.

Renewable energy sources, such as biomass, solar, ocean thermal, wind, currents, tides, waves, geothermal etc., are being considered as possible sources of energy to meet these challenges. Biomass, solar energy and wind energy for instants are the world’s most abundant permanent source of energy and are also an important and environmentally compatible sources of renewable energy.

In the future, civilization will be strength to research and develop alternative energy sources. Our current rate of fossil fuel usage will lead to an energy crisis this century. In order to survive the energy crisis many companies in the energy industry are inventing new ways to extract energy from renewable sources.

According to research, thousands of years we have relied on burning fossil fuel to generate energy, buy in today’s world using oil gas and coal for our energy needs will become a problem. Burning coal, petroleum and other fossil fuels is the primary means by which we produce electricity, it also leads to heavy concentrations of pollutants in our air and water.

The renewable energy sector is fast gaining ground in many countries as a new growth area. Moreover, its potential presents environmentally and economically. There is no doubt that it plays a major role in meeting energy needs, making it possible for businesses to reap energy cost savings while combating global warming. Currently, Malaysia is world the third largest producer of solar cells as Malaysia already has companies across the entire value chain, from silicon production to solar cell manufacturing and module assembly. Solar energy is considered to be a clean energy of the future, it has been at the forefront of power development in the developed countries and a possible energy source for developing countries like Malaysia.

Sustainable transportation

Sustainable transportation refers to a wide range of traffic participants who can maintain social, environmental, and climate impacts, as well as the ability to supply energy indefinitely globally. Components that assess sustainability include specific vehicles used for roads, waterways , or air transport and infrastructure that accommodates transportation ( roads, railroads ,air routes, waterways, canals, and docks). Transport operations and logistics, as well as traffic-oriented developments,also involve assessments. The sustainability of transport is mainly measured by the effectiveness and efficiency of the trasport system and impact of the system on the environment and climate.
